Injection trigger finger

Patient Positioning

Patient seated in front of the examiner, hand palm resting on a examination table or small underlay / pillow.

Probe Positioning

Place the transducer on a longitudinal planes over the tendon of interest. Perform the injection in plane from distally in direction to the A1 pulley.

note: patient with trigger finger (tendovaginitis stenosans) with ganglion cyst. The steroid reaches even the ganglion cyst, which is in connection with the tendon sheath.
