Patient Positioning

Patient seated in front of the examiner, hand palm down resting on the examination table.

Probe Positioning

Place the transducer on a transverse plane over the radius and ulna (distal radioulnar joint), measure the distance in neutral position and when pushing down the distal forearm at the examination table.

Note: patient with posttraumatic instability of the distal radioulnar joint due to snowboard-accident a few years ago with dorsal ligamentous injury without fracture. Pain during pro- / supination.
