Puncture trochanteric bursa / hematoma after tear

Patient Positioning

Patient lies on the opposite hip.

Probe Positioning

Place the transducer over the greater trochanter as a landmark and shift the probe to get an image of the bursa located superior posterior to the greater trochanter. Perform injection in plane.
