Patient Positioning

Patient seated in front of the examiner, hand palm down resting on the examination table.

Probe Positioning

Move the probe distally from the Lister tubercle on transverse planes and visualize the dorsal aspect of the scapholunate ligament under ulnar deviation of the hand. Landmarks are the lunate and scaphoid.

note: move the probe distally from the Lister's tubercle of the radius to find the lunate and scaphoid between which the scapholunate ligament is located.
