Triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) – longitudinal

Patient Positioning

Patient seated in front of the examiner, hand palm up resting on a examination table.

Probe Positioning

Place the transducer on a longitudinal plane over the ulnar aspect of the wrist - bony landmarks are the ulnar styloid and in depth the lunate. The TFCC is located in the space  above the lunate.
