Injection gluteal tendons hyaluronic acid / ACP

Patient Positioning

Patient lies on the opposite hip.

Probe Positioning

Place the transducer over the greater trochanter as a landmark and shift the probe to get an image with the gluteus medius in the left aspect and the greater trochanter in the right aspect of the image section. Perform injection in plane.

Note: Injection of hyaluronic acid into the bursae at the gluteal tendons at the greater trochanter.
Note: Injection of ACP (autologous conditioned plasma) in a patient with partial tear of the gluteal tendons.
Note: Injection of ACP in a patient with partial tear of the gluteal tendons. Perfect outcome after 6 months.
