Tendinitis long head of biceps

Patient Positioning

Patient seated on a revolving stool, arm in slight internal rotation. Elbow flexed (90°), palm up.

Probe Positioning

Place the probe over the long biceps tendon between the greater and lesser tuberosities in its short axis. Shift the probe up to the intraarticular course of the long head of biceps and down to the myotendinous junction (level of the humeral insertion of the pectoralis major tendon).
