Patient Positioning

Patient lies supine, leg externally rotated, knee 20-30 flexed.

Probe Positioning

Place the transducer on a oblique plane in orientation of the medial collateral ligament and follow it distally, then rotate the probe forward to visualize the tendons of the pes anserinus.
